A gift in your will
After taking care of your family and loved ones, including the Cancer Society in your Will is a choice that will provide crucial support to cancer patients and their families for years to come.
This kind of generosity means you’ll always be part of something truly meaningful. We’ll also welcome you to the Cancer Society Hope Fellowship so that your generous gift is acknowledged.
How your gift will
make a difference
Every day 71 New Zealanders will hear the words “you have cancer”, and this number is only set to increase.
Not only does the Cancer Society fund life-saving cancer research, but ensures those facing cancer have all the support they need, including counselling, transport to treatment, support groups and much more.
When you leave a gift in your will to the Cancer Society, you help ensure our services can continue to support thousands of New Zealanders for years to come.
No matter the size, a gift in your will can make a life-changing difference to someone’s life.
HOW WE CAN HELP

John chose to give back
When John was being treated for prostate cancer, he faced a grueling combination of treatments. At the time, he discovered a support group for men organised by the Cancer Society, that helped him through his difficult journey with cancer.
After surviving his own cancer diagnosis, John’s wife Sian was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and unfortunately, she passed away the following year. John now volunteers with the Cancer Society to raise awareness of cervical cancer among GPs.
After this experience, John wanted to support the Cancer Society in a meaningful way – in a way that would help people for years to come.
Leaving a gift in his will to the Cancer Society is a powerful way John can honour his wife. His gift will help support those facing the same ordeal well into the future.
